A. Yes, and the choice is yours! Your robot has 3 cleaning modes: you can choose vacuum only, moponly, or combination vac+mop. Set No Mop Zones in the app so rugs stay protected and don’t get wet while you mop nearby.
Q: How well does it vacuum?
A. A great vacuum is more than just power (though this one is equipped with 15,000 Pascals of intense suction). A flexible bristle brush and edge-extending corner brush plow through dirt, extracting dust and debris along walls and in hard-to-reach corners, devouring dirt from hardfloors to fluffy carpets.
Q: How does the mopping function work?
A. It's just 3 easy steps to mop - fill the robot's bin tank with water or cleaning solution3, slide the bin back into the robot, and add the mopping pad. Microfiber mop pads can be used up to 30x and Roomba® even detects & avoids mopping on carpets.
Q: How does the home mapping work?
A. ClearView™ LiDAR scans your space to create up to 3 maps, even on different levels of your home, that you can customise in the Roomba® Home App. Mapping takes less than 10 minutes6, and then your Roomba® 115 Combo Robot is ready to navigate smoothly and avoid obstacles.
Q: How do I set up the robot?
A. Set up is simple. Just unbox, plug in the charger and download the Roomba® Home App. A 2.4 GHz network on your robot and phone is required for setup andoperation. After setup, your phone can return to 5GHz. Follow the prompts and in a few minutes your robot is ready.
Q: What kind of maintenance is required?
A. To keep your robot operating smoothly, wash the mop pad and wipe out the bin as needed, and replace the drydebris bag, filters and brushes every 3–6 months to maintain powerful cleaning day after day.
Q. Will my privacy be protected?
A. Yes, iRobot uses encryption to store and strictly limit access to data and is verified by 3rd party security organisations. Security measures include auto software updates and the ability to delete your data if you pass your robot on to a new owner.
